Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key) is Japanese for "Universal Energy" and works on all levels of one's being - Physical, Emotional, Mental and Spiritual - whilst supporting the Immune system and bringing a sense of balance and harmony to the body.

Reiki will relieve acute pain immediately, although deep seated conditions may take several treatments.

Tripuri is an experienced practitioner and Reiki master and member of the Reiki Alliance, an international community of masters who practice and teach this system. She has treated people suffering from a wide range of conditions including Hypertension (high blood pressure), Hepatitus, ME, Depression, Migraine, Drug Dependency and Eating Disorders, as well as attending clinics and hospices.

Reiki can be used very effectively in conjunction with both allopathic (conventional medicine) and complementary treatments such as homeopathy and acupuncture. Healing can often give support and relief to people undergoing difficult and painful processes.

She has found Reiki to be particularly effective for healing Emotional problems resulting in compulsive behavior, especially when combined with Bach flower remedies and acupuncture or homeopathy.

First Degree Initiation into The Usui System, honouring the spiritual Lineage of Usui, Hayashi, Takata and Furumoto.

Students will be initiated by Tripuri, who will also teach a sequence of hand positions for self-treatment and the treating of others. 

The focus of the course will be the practical integration of Reiki into everyday life, for self-healing and also for use with friends and family. There will be opportunities to discuss using Reiki with Children, as well as with plants and Animals.

As we do not have long breaks during the course, please make sure you have something to eat in the morning ... there will be natural breaks during the initiations which are on an individual basis. Also it is a good idea to wear comfortable loose fitting clothes and a light warm sweater. Please feel free to bring drinks and light snacks.

The course runs over two to four days, during that period students will receive the 4 initiations into Reiki Usui Shiki Ryoho ... The Usui System of Natural Healing. It is advisable before and during a Reiki course to avoid Coffee, Alcohol and stimulants including Tobacco. There will be 10 - 12 hours tuition according to the size of the group ... maximum 10 students.

Students will receive 4 initiations, learn about the history of Reiki, the Reiki principles, practice self-treatment and giving treatments to others, with the emphasis on good practice and ethics as well as hand positions on the front of the body.

Students will learn about the different types of physical and emotional reactions one might expect after a Reiki treatment ... we discuss Bach Flowers and other forms of energy medicine combined with Reiki as an effective form of treatment ... Students will have the opportunity to practice with each other ... We will discuss treating children /animals / plants and using Reiki in First Aid situations and finish with a question and answer session. At the end of the course you will receive a certificate.

Second Degree Initiation is for those who wish to practice Reiki at a deeper level. The focus of the course will be on distance healing. Classes are held in small groups, usually three to four students.
